Description
The Velociraptor is our most versatile tool. With it, you can train Trail Arm Throw, Lead Arm Throw, Two Arm Throw, Core Conditioning, Forearm Conditioning, Shot Shaping, Trajectory Control, Chipping Motion, Pitching Motion, and Putting Motion. When swinging the Velociraptor, because of the flexible handle, you cannot impart the same energy into the handle as you could if it were stiff. This leaves no alternative but to use your body – not your hands – to power the swing. When using the Velociraptor, you will notice that the further out in front you strive to project the rope, the more “lively” your lower body dynamics will become. This is a good thing! You’ll learn to get your body moving and keep it moving!
Typical workout: 2-3 sets of many different drills, as named above.
SPACE REQUIREMENT: 20×20 feet of clear, open space. Can be used indoors or outdoors. The far end of the rope should be anchored to a weight or a pole.
